About Us

Full Special Studio is the UAE's first independent commercial risograph print studio. We produce beautiful and useful printed products for individuals, businesses, and institutions, and are an independent print platform that supports and champions local and regional creatives. 

Full Special Studio was born in the UAE in 2022, and we are now proudly based in M_39, a new hub for creative start-ups in the up-and-coming MiZa cultural district of Abu Dhabi. 

What is Risograph printing?

Risograph is a stencil-duplication technology pioneered in 1980s Japan. Riso prints have a distinct artisanal, handmade quality, with warm fluorescent ink colours and a unique grainy texture. Riso inks are produced from soybean and rice bran oils and are entirely organic, making the process energy efficient, environmentally friendly and sustainable.

Why Full Special?

Full Special is an ode to our home - the Emirates. It's an expression that transcends language and cultures, as local as Chips Oman, Chai Karak and Laban Up.
